But did you know that you can use dish soap for your cabinets? Dish soap is great for cleaning all types of cabinets including metal, plastic laminate, vinyl, or painted wood.
All you need to do is dampen a soft cloth with warm water and a touch of dish soap and give the cabinets a wipe. It will remove fingerprints, grease stains, and food smudges in a breeze.
How to Clean Painted Cabinets With Ice
One of our main concerns is how to clean kitchen cabinets without removing finish. Sometimes, using chemical-based cleaners can remove dirt, but it can also remove that shiny finish.

Oil soap (such as Murphy’s) is high on the list of ‘best cleaner for painted cabinets.’ It’s an excellent option for removing fingerprint and grease stains from your kitchen cabinets.
Depending on how grimy your cabinets are, you’ll just need to mix 1/4 to 1/2 cup of oil soap in a gallon of warm water. Use a soft cloth to buff the surface of your cabinet, then a second cloth with water to rinse any excess product.
Clorox
