We love using digital resources to supplement and enrich our learning experience. I’ve only written about this a couple of times (here and here), but I assure you that we use digital resources several time throughout the week!
As we’ve worked through All American History by Bright Ideas Press (you can check out my review HERE), we’ve had so much fun checking out some videos on YouTube.
Read through, and we can assure you that you’d want to add this to your Youtube history playlist.

Lots of these videos are short and sweet, but there are some that are bit longer too. They are all great, and an awesome addition to enriching American History learning.
One good example is American history documentaries. Even if they’re long, you won’t get bored. Though, most of the videos are on the shorter side. Here’s an example of one.
The Videos
So far, there are about 26 videos, all related to Unit 1 of the All American History curriculum by Bright Ideas Press. As I can, I will and continue to add in more videos to the playlist until I fill it up with resources from All American History Volume 1.
Bookmark the playlist (or this post) for continued reference! This is where you’ll see any announcements for american history 2. Stay tuned!
You can also find this YouTube Playlist by clicking here: Related Videos To All American History {Bright Ideas Press}
I’ve also created a Pinterest Board where I’m adding these videos to as well. And as we work through All American History by BIP, I’ll keep adding more videos to the YouTube Playlist and this Pinterest Board.
Follow Marlene Griffith’s board Homeschool: American History VIDEOS on Pinterest.
Note: I would recommend watching these, or at least skimming through them, to make sure you know what your kids are watching. And be super cautious about the recommended videos that may show up at the end of videos.
Sometimes they are totally inappropriate. If you click “play all” or simply play on any video within this playlist, you will bypass the recommended video suggestions at the end of each video. So, it’s better to check your kid’s American history Youtube videos.
With these videos, you’ll be able to supplement and add some variety to your American History lessons! Don’t forget to update your Youtube history playlist!
