Hey Everyone! Today is Day 5 of 5 Days Of Dollar Store Crafts as part of the 5 day series at iHomeschool Network!!
Today we are making masks (or masquerade masks)!!!
Materials:
- Plain white paper, to trace the desired outline for your mask
- Glittery Foam Paper (from the dollar store)
- Glue
- Craft Sticks
The Details:
After our masks were all cut out we placed them on the back side of our foam sheets, traced them, and cut them out.
My oldest wanted to add a strip of another color so she cut out the portion of the red that she was going to replace with purple. Then traced that exact shape on a purple foam sheet.
She then glued it back onto her original pattern (that she had cut out from the plain white paper), to kepp all the pieces together. She also added another foam sheet cut out just to give it a bit more support.
After that , we glued a crafter stick to one side so they can hold it up to their faces. :)
