I’m on a mission this year to live a more natural life, from food choices to skincare and beauty products. I’m working on this slowly throughout this year and taking baby steps.
The book is simple, just like Natural Beauty. It’s very easy to navigate and you’ll be ready to start making some beauty recipes from day one! You’ll find recipes for all things beauty:
- Creams and Serums
- Facial Oils
- Face Masks
- Shaving Aids
- Lip Balms
- Toothpastes and Mouthwashes
- Eye Masks
- Scalp Treatments
- Foot Creams
- Hand Creams
- Makeup Tips
- Facial Massage Guide
- Skin Care guides (there’s a great step by step guide on Dry Body Brushing and the why of it)
- And much more!
Take a look inside

Here’s a look at the table of contents, as you can see – this book has lots to offer!
There’s also a section to help you determine your skin type and teaches you the basics of skin care. You’ll have a directory of ingredients which explains what different elements do and are used for. For instance, here’s some of the scoop on lavender.
I’ve enjoyed this book and will for a long time, but I particularly love how visual it is. Visual aids are particularly useful for young kids, in this case – young girls. My daughter has loved diving into this book and has had such an awesome time learning about different skin.
Natural Beauty: Natural Makeup, Soothing Therapies, Homemade Preparations is a book that every mom should have in her library and it makes a great gift for your growing daughters.
DK Publishing was kind enough to send me a copy of Natural Beauty to give away to one of my readers! To enter, share below in the comments WHY you’re wanting to go more natural with your beauty products (skin care, makeup, etc).
