Our family loves to eat pork chops, and I am always looking for different ways to serve it. Here is a recipe we really enjoy. It is made with average ingredients that most kitchens have on hand. If you’re looking for a new way to dress up your pork chops, give this one a try and I’m sure you will love it!
8-10 boneless pork chops
1 cup honey
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
2 clove garlic, minced
4 tablespoons of soy sauce
a few shakes of black pepper
Preheat oven on 350. Put your pork chops in a baking pan (use a deep one so the liquid wont overflow). Pour the mixture over all the pork chops, turn them over a few times to coat them. Cover with aluminum foil and bake on 350 for 1 hour. Remove the foil covering and put back in over for 12-17 min to brown the chops. I like to serve this with my brown rice and veggie recipe, but I am sure that a variety of sides would go well with this meat. I think some mashed potatoes would go well with this and some veggies on the side. It’s a great meal, healthy and light on the tummy.
This is how I usually serve it, with the brown rice.
You can reduce the quantities in this recipe in half if you don’t like having left overs, I make as much as I can at once because it makes lunch for the next day.
