This year I wanted to make it a point to do more to help those in need. It’s not that this didn’t matter before, but I always thought I couldn’t do anything about it since I wasn’t rolling in cash. Today I’m sharing how you can give back to those in need in one of the easiest ways possible!
I remember as a child my dream was to help kids in need. I felt fortunate to have parents who not only adored me but were able to provide me with everything I could ever need. And not just materially, but health wise too. They made sure I had nutritious food and that I was healthy. Our home was a safe place – clean and comfortable.
Now that I’m a mom, not a day goes by that I don’t think about the well-being of my children. They want for nothing, they are in great health, and ample healthy food options in our home! I want my kids to grow healthy and strong, and while we do offer them a variety of healthy foods – there is no room for chance when it comes to their health in my book. So we make sure to have a great multivitamin for them daily!
And as a mom, I need to make sure my health is in tact too, as best I can. I do my best to eat healthy, but I’m not the greatest at remembering that. The busy-busy of mama life between homeschooling, taking care of our home, and working from home doesn’t always leave a lot of room for me. It’s not ideal, but if you’re a busy mom like me – you know how it is.
Because of this I make sure that I take my daily multivitamin from Centrum. They are a brand I have trusted for years. We were about to run out of our vitamins so I picked up a couple of new bottles at Walgreens this weekend. I usually get the adult multivitamin, but I decided to go for the women and men one, just to give it a try.
Giving Back, where it matters
There is something pretty amazing about helping others in need. As a mom, my heart wants nothing more than to give back to mothers and children in need. And as a mom, I know one of a mother’s top priorities is to make sure her little ones are healthy.
Here’s where you can help make a difference in the health of mothers and children in need.
At Walgreens, you’ll find this neat label by their Centrum Vitamin section.
Vitamins and minerals are essential to having a healthy lifestyle, and Walgreens is doing something pretty amazing! When you buy any of the Centrum Vitamins at Walgreens, they will donate a percentage of the proceeds to Vitamin Angels.
Vitamin Angels helps at-risk populations in need. They specifically help women who are pregnant, children under five, and new mothers gain access to much-needed vitamins and minerals.
I have favored Centrum for years, and to know that Walgreens is donating a portion of the proceeds to such a wonderful cause like Vitamin Angels, is just amazing!
Doing something as simple as buying vitamins (something most of us do frequently anyhow), can help save the lives of pregnant mothers, children, and new mamas who are in need.
They are super easy to find! Just go to the vitamin section at your local Walgreens (at my local store it’s by the Pharmacy) and you’ll find them!
If you’re like me and are always keeping an eye open for ways you can give back, consider stopping by your local Walgreens and picking up a bottle of Centrum Vitamins. You’ll not only be contributing to your family and their health, but you’ll be helping others in need.
Head to Walgreens to purchase Centrum multivitamins, and Walgreens will donate a portion of your purchase to Vitamin Angels!
During the month of August, you can earn 10,000 Balance Rewards points when you spend 30$ or more on participating Centrum products! Pretty neat!
Sometimes in the simplest ways, you can do amazing things! What are some ways you like to give back to those in need?
