In 2014, I totally let my health slip through my grasp. My health came second to everything and I am dealing with the consequences of it. I’m not going to get into detail at the moment (over the course of the next few months I’ll share more of this), but I am going to share what my simple fitness morning routine looks like and how I get my morning energy boost!
For this post, I’ll stick to my simple fitness morning routine. I’ll touch on my healthy food goals and changes in another post this month, but I’ve already reduced my coffee intake (a normal day would include at least 5 cups of coffee) and my soda intake.

I’m trying to make sure that the first thing I put in my body is nutritious (work in progress), and a good source of energy boost for my morning workout!
Start my morning with BelVita Bites and V8 Veggie Blends
Over the past week, I have started my day off with BelVita Bites (Mini Breakfast Biscuits) and a glass of V8 Veggie Blends! I usually sit down and drink a tall glass of water, some V8 Veggie Blend juice, and try to have some BelVita Bites. (Check out a the four things I do before breakfast to have a productive day.)
I can’t believe how YUM these are! I have a super picky pallet, but these two things combined are a total morning win for me! The V8 Veggie Blends has a full serving of vegetables in every 8 ounces! It’s an excellent source of antioxidant vitamins A, C & E! You can find these in the “In With The New” section at Target.
My Target had this section at the back of the store where they usually have their specialty/seasonal area. They are super easy to find too!

My Simple Morning Workout Plan
I wanted to not only eat healthier first thing in the morning, but also get in a great workout! I already own a bunch of free weights so all I was missing was a great program to work through each morning. It needed to be simple, straightforward, and challenging. I am so excited to finally own this workout DVD!
I love being able to fit these things into my morning routine! It’s such an awesome way to kick-start the day! MORNING WIN for sure!
