If you were to ask anyone in this family what’s the one thing we all love and must have in our home, it would be books! Come check out how we’re building our family library for FREE with Kellogg’s!
From the time my kids are born I’ve read to them, and have helped to nurture a passion and love for the written word. Today especially, we focus heavily on having books in our home for the kids to read and expand their imagination with. There is so much technology out there now a day, and we love that too! But nothing tops the love of books.
There is something so sweet about checking up on your kids after they’ve gone to be, only to find them reading their favorite book before they fall asleep.
As a homeschool mom I’m especially diligent about keeping our home library well stocked and continually adding new books to it. My kids love it and I love that they have such a passion for books too!
The number one question they ask me as I prepare for the new school year is “what books are we going to read this year?!”.
Books are a huge deal in this family. :) I love that.
Kellogg’s Family Rewards Program
Kellogg’s is working hard to put more Scholastic books into children’s hands and help YOU build a library for your kiddos!

It’s a fun way to treat yourself and your kids to a fun snack while building your homeschool library!
I think this would be a fun way to build your local Homeschool Co-Op library too! Then when all the kiddos come to meet for Co-Op day they’ll have loads of books to dig into! Super neat!
How to get your FREE book
We purchased Eggo® Waffles 24 ct, Nutri-Grain® bars, Rice Krispies Treats® 16ct, and Corn Flakes.

We love books
Books are essential to children’s learning development. The more they read the better their vocabulary is expanded, and usually this happens a lot faster than kids who don’t read or aren’t read to. They learn through reading different ways to use words, how to express themselves in new ways that they may not have thought of otherwise.
Books help stimulate a child’s imagination. Reading (or being read to) provokes the child to think and imagine what they are reading (or hearing).
Did you know that reading also helps improve a childs attention span? In a technology driven world this is essential! So many kids are having trouble staying focused, but reading more books can help them counteract this.
Here are the books we choose if you’re curious!
I’m so happy that Kellogg’s is helping families build their libraries! Be sure to check out more books available through this Kellogg’s offer here. I’d love to hear which books you choose!
